This vintage Pitcher is a beautiful addition to any collection. The pitcher is made of sturdy and durable ironstone material, accented with a lovely floral pattern . Ths is perfect for anyone who loves unique and charming collectibles, and would make a great gift for a loved one.
Ironstone was first produced in the 19th century. I created a beautiful faux flower arrangement inside which can be removed if u like. Stands 18" from bottom of pitcher to top of flowers. About 10" across from top of spout to handle edge. I believe early 1900s
History of ironstone
"Ironstone is a durable, porous, glaze-covered heavy earthenware for which a 14-year patent was secured in 1813 by Charles James Mason. He and his brother, George Miles Mason, produced their Patent Ironstone China at the Patent Iron-stone Manufactory in Fenton, Staffordshire, England."
